My find in the woods =)

I'm not sure how this works with posting photos so I'm just going to upload a couple and see what happens ;-)  Today is my sweet daughters 21st birthday and as I was making my way to go see her at college I was delayed by my intense desire to find some good junk ;-). It's okay...she still wasn't ready when I got to her apartment. So I finished digging up/out a tin sign I had found a few days earlier and went to be on my way when I looked to my left and saw a large white "something" not of nature so I had to go see if it was styrofoam or a salvageable something.  Well...I was so excited when I found an enamelware bucket and wash basin and a lot of old bottles and rusty tin :-). So I lined it all up on a log to take a photo of my find. I'll post a couple photos now before I continue. Still trying to get the hang of this...it is only my forth post after all ;-) I don't know how to write under each photo yet but the second photo is zoomed to show what was right in front of me that I didn't even see...an old box spring... I was so excited!!  The third photo shows what I then did with the bucket...I dug up some daffodils and planted them in the bucket and took them to Caitlin along with the "stache" jar she requested...that's apple cider in there now but after she drinks the cider it will be used for her extra change. So as I read this I see my writing needs a lot of help...and I have no idea how to get the photos on here correctly but I'll keep trying and hopefully will get better soon!

Screen door before photos

Squeaky old screen doors =)

Blogging...Hmmm, where to begin. I guess I'll just start with today.  I'm hanging out with my my daughter right now, she goes to college nearby so I see her often which I LOVE!  My son is now a working man at almost 17 so with that and school (ehem, and a girlfriend) we don't see him much these days.  He did help me pick up some old screen doors yesterday from a home that is doing some renovating in a nearby town, where my son works and goes to school.  I had driven by many times wondering what they were going to do with those old doors so one day I got brave and stopped and knocked on the door, darn, no answer.  I wrote a note and left it by the table saw where I thought they would be sure to find it.  A couple of months went by and I got a phone call from a kind soul who said I COULD HAVE THEM!!!  I only picked up two of them yesterday as they are wanting to remove the hinges from the others so I'll go back and get the others another day.  Now I'm going to try to add photos of them "before" and then I'm going to clean them up and hopefully be posting some "after" photos soon.

Trying to figure out this Blogging Thang

You bloggers make it look soooo easy....
